Mercado Central is the most famous market in Valencia. It is located in the very center of the city. The building itself is huge and grand, and always full of people and tourists. As soon as you walk in, you’ll smell fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as their well-known hams ( jamon). Their sandwiches with ham are great, because they have extremely tasty and crispy breads, not to mention the distinctiveness of the ham.
