What is Fallas?

Fallas is a traditional festival held every year in Valencia, Spain, in March. It is famous for its large, artistically crafted figures made of cardboard, wood, and Styrofoam, known as “fallas”. These sculptures often depict satirical scenes from society and politics, and the festival culminates in “La Cremà” – the night when the figures are spectacularly set on fire.

The festival also features parades, concerts, fireworks, and traditional costumes, making it one of the most important and vibrant events in Spain.
